Why Financial Literacy?
In an effort to provide WPI students with information regarding personal finance, the WPI Office of Financial Aid has developed this financial literacy site. The content you will find is aimed at helping students better understand their finances and assist with making informed decision during college and after graduation. As part of a larger initiative, our hope is this site will provide a solid foundation to build WPI’s financial literacy program and we anticipate, as we have already done, moving beyond this site and offering workshops and events aimed at understanding personal finance and building financial knowledge.
Using the Financial Literacy site
This site brings together information from a variety of sources. Content is organized several ways. On the left hand side, you will find general information pertaining to personal finance, student loans (coming soon) and other helpful resources. On the right hand side, our financial literacy blog provides current information and links to articles relating to personal finance. Above the blog, you will find a calendar advertising campus events and workshops focused on personal finance. Please check back regularly as we continue to build our site.
We hope you find this information helpful. In addition, we want to hear from you. If you have ideas for website topics or campus wide workshops and events, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
