State-Sponsored Programs Also Offer Assistance

State-sponsored scholarships and grants will be awarded directly by the college or by the state-based program to help students fund their college education. These grants and scholarships may be based on the student’s financial need or high school academic performance.

Residents of Massachusetts may take advantage of the Massachusetts Gilbert Matching Student Grant Program.

Other states also offer financial aid programs that have reciprocal agreements with Massachusetts.
