Helping People
For our alumni and friends, supporting WPI through the Annual Fund is rewarding and fulfilling. When you make an unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund:
- You are helping students like Victoria Mason ’11, who will use their WPI education to make a positive impact on the world.
- You are supporting faculty like Kathy A. Notarianni, David Cyganski, John Orr, and Jim Duckworth, who are developing innovative solutions to critical, immediate problems such as alleviating the dangers faced by our first responders.
- You are cultivating young, dynamic minds, like those of graduate students working with Professor Ed Ma, who are helping to make hydrogen energy a reality.
- By extension, you are playing a critical role in the lives that will be touched by the new technologies, inventive thinking, and creative solutions developed by WPI students, faculty, graduate students, and alumni.
Unrestricted gifts of any size matter greatly. Whether you just graduated in May and can afford a $25 gift, or you are celebrating your 40th Reunion this year and are considering a significant Annual Fund gift—collectively our alumni and friends have the opportunity to transform WPI.
The Annual Fund goal for FY 12 (July 1, 2011-June 30, 2012) is $2.5 million. These Annual Fund dollars are vital to WPI’s ability to provide a high quality engineering and science education to our students.
