What is Tag Day?
Tag Day visually demonstrates the generosity of donors by placing gift tags on buildings, rooms, and other physical monuments and spaces that were made possible by gifts from alumni, parents and friends of the institution.
What does Tag Day have to do with WPI?
We want to raise awareness about WPI’s philanthropic history, starting with the gift that established WPI and built Boynton Hall. WPI would look very different without donor contributions for the construction of new academic buildings and residence halls. Many students would also be affected if donor support didn’t exist. Roughly 70% of WPI students receive financial aid of some kind. Your college experience is made possible by WPI donors.
