WPI Charitable Giving Deadlines for 2011

With December 31 falling on a weekend this year, the deadlines for making your tax-deductible charitable gift to WPI for 2011 vary. Please follow the deadlines and instructions below. If you have any questions, please call us at 508-831-6052 or email giving@wpi.edu 

CHECKS (via USPS)

Mailing envelopes must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2011. Please mail checks to:

ONLINE GIVING

Online gifts must be completed by 11:59 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 31, 2011. 

CREDIT CARDS

By Mail (USPS): Credit card gift forms sent by mail must be received on or before Friday, December 30, 2011.

By Phone: Credit card gifts may be called in to the Annual Giving office at 508-831-6052 by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011.

For your security, please do not leave credit card information on WPI voicemail, and do not transmit
credit card numbers via email.

GIFTS OF SECURITIES

DTC stock transfers must be completed on or before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011.Click here for information on how to transfer stock shares. For information on deadlines for mailing or hand-delivering stock certificates, contact Gift Recording at 508-831-6740.

GIFTS SENT BY FEDERAL EXPRESS, UPS or OTHER COURIER

Gifts sent via courier must be delivered and signed for (if applicable) on or before December 30, 2011.
