Surveys

WPI provides data to numerous national surveys. Some are comprehensive, like U.S. News & World Report. Others are specific to science and engineering, such as the AITU, NSF Graduate and ASEE surveys. Below is a short list and description of the some of the major surveys we complete annually.

•  ASEE

  • Survey of Engineering & Engineering Technology Programs and Research
  • Data is compiled for ASEE publication "Profiles of Engineering and Engineering Technology Colleges"
  • Includes data on enrollment, degrees, professional societies for students, etc.

• CGS/GRE

  • Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) and the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) Board Survey of Graduate Enrollment and Degrees
  • Data is compiled for annual report on graduate education in the U.S.
  • Includes data on enrollement and degrees
  • Council of Graduate Schools

•  AITU

  • Association of Independent Technological Universities annual survey
  • Includes data on enrollment, finance, admissions, salaries
  • Most data is confidential.
