Social Media Guidelines
Blogs, social networks and websites such as Wikipedia, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, and YouTube are exciting new channels for you to share knowledge, express your creativity and connect with others who share your interests. WPI supports your participation in these online communities.
As a member of the WPI community you are already aware of WPI’s policies related to computer use, copyright, harassment, privacy, university identity, and more. These policies apply to social media activity as they do to other forms of communication.
Because social media channels are fairly dynamic, we’ve assembled "best practice" guidelines from respected online and industry sources to help you use these forums effectively, protect your personal and professional reputation, protect WPI’s reputation, and follow university policies.
