ALANA Student Support Network
The ALANA (African-American, Latino/Hispanic, Asian, and Native-American) Student Support Network is a group of administrators from several colleges and universities within the Worcester consortium. While we come from different areas of college administration, central to our work is a concerted effort to support the recruitment and retention of ALANA students.
The network has proven to be an excellent means for its members to support each other’s work through the sharing of information and resources. One of the goals of the network is to develop a stronger connection between all the ALANA students in the Worcester Consortium of Colleges and Universities. Our hope is to expand support and resources for our ALANA students, provide opportunities for them to meet and dialogue, and then for them to develop genuine supportive relationships with each other.
