The WPI Police Department located at 26 Boynton Street/ Founders Hall Ground Level is the centralized location for all lost and found items. Students, Faculty, Staff and Visitors are encouraged to contact the department and inquire on any lost item(s).

WPI Police serves as the central collection point for the Lost & Found items, such as jewelry, cellphones, wallets, eyeglasses, bikes, any item of value. No Clothing, Food, or household items will be accepted.
To report a lost item email WPI Lost & Found http://www.wpi.edu/offices/police/lost.html or you can contact the department directly at (508) 831-5433 to inquire if your items were turned in. Any items found should be delivered or reported to the WPI Police Department, if not able to deliver to the WPI Police an Officer will pick item(s) up.
Any item(s) found with identification inside will be contacted and informed of property found. Found item(s) are held for (6) six months minimum at which time they are disposed of by donating to a charitable organization. Anyone claiming lost and found property at the WPI Police Department must show a positive identification such as the WPI ID or a driver's license.
