SNAP - Transportation Services
(Security Night Assistance Patrol)
We encourage students, faculty, and staff to use WPI's Security Night Assistance Patrol, or SNAP. We currently staff 2 vans, seven days a week. Co-sponsored by the WPI Police Department and the Office of Residential Services, SNAP begins operation on the first night of classes each term and ends on the last day of classes at the end of the C-term. The Gateway Shuttle is committed to providing safe transportation to all the WPI Community. There are five (5) Gateway Shuttle van stops. Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm. The Shuttle service is provided on holidays and during recess/breaks except on Thanksgiving and Christmas recess. The SNAP Shuttle is committed to providing safe transportation to all the WPI Community. There are six (6) SNAP Shuttle van stops. Please be aware the SNAP Shuttle will not be waiting at these locations as this shuttle service is on a schedule in order to provide the most efficient service to everyone at the WPI. Hours of Operation are Sunday through Saturday (7 days a week) from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am. During holidays and recess/breaks Contact the SNAP transportations (508) 831-6111
The posted signs for the shuttle routes are as follows:
Faraday Hall: In front of building.
Gateway Park: Outside the Gateway Garage by the north-end stairwell.
Founders Hall: Behind the building
Bartlett Center: In front of building.
Morgan Hall Rear: End of the walkway between Rec Center/Morgan Hall
Salisbury Estates: By the rotary island.
The above locations identified are in order of the shuttle route.
Please take into consideration both pedestrian and vehicle traffic volume, inclement weather and the loading and unloading of passengers.
