Proper Usage of the Marks: General Standards
- The marks must be reproduced from official artwork, available from University Marketing. The department believes the official artwork meets the needs of all publications and electronic communications. Any questions about the artwork or requests for additional variations of the marks should be directed to Marketing and Communications for consideration.
- The marks may not have their proportions changed and may not be cropped.
- The marks may not be tilted.
- The marks may not be edited or combined with other graphical elements to create new marks.
- The WPI Logo must appear prominently, with adequate space around it – and between it and other graphic elements – to preserves its integrity and equity.
- The marks should not appear over textured or patterned backgrounds, including photographs, if doing so would diminish their visual impact.
- The marks are graphic elements and may not be used in place of WPI's initials or full name in headlines, titles, cover art and so on.
