Founders Hall is the only suite-style residence hall at WPI. Founders has 4- and 6-person suites, rooms are single gender, but suites may be coed (by suite, not by individual room) if students choose. Founders Hall is available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Located on four handicapped-accessible floors, all suites contain double and single bedrooms, a living area, and a bathroom. WPI phone, cable, wireless internet, and network access are available in each room. Several lounge areas have been upgraded and now include new flat-screen TVs and ping pong or foosball tables. At the same time, it’s a low-key living environment, so it’s easy to maintain privacy and find quiet time when you need it. The suite arrangement creates tight-knit, smaller communities that combine to form a larger community. The environment is quiet, but residents still find time for social events.
Unlike apartment living, there is no commute, no monthly bills to pay, and no need to negotiate shared payments with roommates. Plus, you can still enjoy the convenience of the WPI meal plan.
Join the Founders Hall community – you’ll see it’s a small, welcoming atmosphere that fosters lifelong friendships.
