Ideas for Leading Groups
At WPI, we take leadership seriously. That’s why the Student Activities Office (SAO) offers a wide range of resources to ensure that our student leaders and their clubs and organizations succeed.
Ice breakers and team building exercises are some of the best ways to get your group members acquainted, communicating, and creating memories. Browse the Team Building tools to find activities that will enhance your team’s collaboration and creativity.
Leadership Topics (XCEL Points)
XCEL Points sheets are a resource for all WPI students—from aspiring to experienced student leaders—and cover such topics as event planning, time management, and conflict resolution. Find XCEL Points online or outside the Student Activities office.
The Leadership Library offers books, magazines, and games to help you enhance your leadership skills. Topics include diversity, leadership theory, and team building. Browse the Leadership Library titles online and come into the SAO to check out a resource.
