Senior Week Committee

Senior Week Committee responsibilities:

  • Gather ideas from classmates and promotes the week's celebrations
  • Plan and coordinate the activities that will be offered during the week before Commencement
  • The students on this committee should work hard to develop a program that the whole senior class will enjoy
  • Comprised of approximately 10 students

Senior Week Committee Chair responsibilities:

  • Review last year's activities with Senior Week committee in order to generate ideas for options of activities
  • Run election for Treasurer to work with advisor to manage budget
  • Lead committee in choosing events through discussions, on-line surveys, last year's evaluation etc.
  • Choose one or two people to organize each day's activity
  • Post schedule on Commencement Website, along with tickets prices and contact information
  • Chair meetings
  • Arrange time and location for meetings
  • Ensure minutes are forwarded to committee and advisor.

Senior Week Committee Treasurer responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with advisor to establish ticket prices
  • Work in conjunction with advisor to establish ticket purchase process (including proper paperwork and required liability signatures)
