Student Recognition Awards

The Student Recognition Awards Ceremony is an annual event that recognizes the contributions of student and organizations who have one thing in common:  A passion to serve the WPI community through their commitment to our departments, programs, and community engagement events. Students will be recognized for the following award categories:  

Student Employee of the Year Award
The Student Employee of the Year program is a nation-wide selection process offered by the Northeast Association of Student Employment Administrators. Supervisors at colleges across the region nominate student employees who they feel are especially worthy of recognition based on their performance on the job. The student you nominate will be considered for the WPI Student Employee of the Year Award and has the opportunity to move on for district, regional, and national consideration. Nominations will be judged on the following characteristics: quality of work, initiative, disposition, reliability and contribution to the employer. 

Outstanding Women Awards
WPI presents four annual awards to outstanding women students. The awards are based on academic excellence, contributions to the WPI community, and professional goals. The Office of Women's Programs announces the competition for these awards each year.

Campus Organization Recognition of Excellence Awards (CORE Awards)
The CORE Awards are presented annually by the Campus Center and Student Activities Department. Student organizations and their members are encouraged to apply in order to share what amazing accomplishments have been achieved over the last year. The CORE Awards are an opportunity for groups to reflect upon successeses as well as recognize the programs, members, and resources that make being a member of the WPI Community so special.

Crimson & Gray Awards
The Crimson & Gray Awards are given out annually to exceptional student leaders that have made a positive impact on student life at WPI. Junior and senior WPI students are eligible for this award. Students must be nominated by a WPI faculty or staff member in order to apply for an award.The deadline to nominate students for the 2013 academic begin on November 1, 2012 and run though December 7, 2012.
