About SDCC
A Welcoming and Supportive Place to Turn
Dedicated to promoting the safety, emotional health, and personal growth of all WPI students, as well as cultivating a supportive campus.
When WPI students need a place to turn for guidance, comfort, or just an ear, they can feel confident that the Student Development & Counseling Center (SDCC) will be there for them. Our mental health counseling and consultation services provide individual, couples, and group counseling options. From consultation to crisis intervention to referrals to local specialists, students know they’re in good hands.
Other components of our service offerings include student development, featuring a wide range of training, workshop, and presentation opportunities designed to foster personal growth and skills for success. Through community development, we strive to create a safe and healthy environment by enhancing the network of on-campus student support through training, advocacy, and peer education. All services are confidential and free.
