  • Patricia L. Mabry, PhD, Senior Advisor in the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research at the National Institutes of Health will discuss “System-Driven Insights for Reinventing Healthcare Delivery”

3:15 – 3:30 p.m. – Break

3:30 - 4:45 pm – Industry Panel will discuss examples of systems approaches to solve healthcare issues.

  • We will discuss the results from three projects that use system dynamics in order to understand high leverage points for intervention in healthcare delivery. The projects include studying the allocation of resources for stroke treatment of veterans, the availability of donated organs, and the disability examination process at the VA.
