Creating Jump Mark (Bookmark)

Step 1

First, open up the page you want to add jump marks to. Then click on "Edit Body Content".

Click on "Edit Body".

Step 3

Highlight the text you want the jump/book mark to go to.

Step 4

Click on "Insert", then click the book mark icon in your tool bar.

Step 5

Enter the name of Jump/Book Mark. Then click "OK".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6

When the screen comes back – please note that the text you highlighted for the bookmark is now underlined with dotted lines.

Step 7

Now, to add a hyperlink to the jump/book mark...

Highlight the item you want the hyperlink on.

Step 8

Click the Insert Hyperlink icon on the tool bar.

Step 9

When another window comes up, click on the "Jump mark" tab. Then click the drop down arrow to select which jump mark.

Step 10

The jump mark that you assigned should be listed in box – highlight the correct one then click "OK".

PLEASE NOTE:  The jumpmarks will only appear in the window if they've been assigned to this content block.  If you have more than one content block on the page – they will not show in the listing.  However, you can still insert a jump mark, but you would have to go into the "code" button at the bottom of your text editor window and place it there.  To do this – contact the CMS Administrator and she will walk you through that process.

Step 11

Type in the jump mark description. Then click "OK".

Step 12

The item that you highlighted for a hyperlink now shows an underline under it – indicating that this is a hyperlink now. Then click "Save and Close".
