Removing Tasks
Step 1 - Identify Task Type
Edited Content is content that has already been published. New Content is content that has not been published or has been rejected.
Step 2.1 - Edited Content
Right click and get the option to 'Undo Changes' button. The task is removed and the content reverts to the previous version.
Step 2.2 - New Content

Click the tasks button in the top horizontal menu

Click the page name link to open the page for editing. If the page does not open for editing, contact cmshelp@wpi.edu and provide the Page ID of the content to be removed.

Right click on the item
Note the difference in Page ID numbers.
In this example, the Page ID in green is the correct Page ID for the content to be removed. -
Click the 'Delete Page' link. If the 'Delete Page' link does not appear in the list, contact cmshelp@wpi.edu with the Page ID information to be removed.

Caution
This action will permanently delete this content from the CMS.

Click the 'Yes' button to confirm the deletion.
- If a blank screen appears, click 'Tasks' to continue on to the next item to remove. Otherwise, click 'SmartEdit' to continue using the CMS for editing.
