Meeting the China Challenge: Networking for Success

The program will take place at:
SRI, International
333 Ravenswood Avenue
Menlo Park, CA - February 3 and 4, 2004

Registration extended through February 2

WPI alumni and friends are invited to join us for this valuable forum on doing business in China. Don't miss this unique opportunity to network with international business executives, attend presentations, learn from others about their successes (and failures), share your own experiences and develop your business contacts.

A half-day newcomers' session is being offered on February 3, beginning with lunch. This session was designed for those who are new to or anticipate doing business in China. The all-day February 4 session is designed to facilitate networking among WPI alumni and friends who are or planning future China business activities, or who are currently doing business in China.

Special guest speaker, Christine Loh, CEO of Hong Kong based Civic Exchange, will provide the keynote speech. The former regional director of Philips Brothers - the physical commodities trading arm of US multinational, Salomon Inc. (based out of Beijing)- Ms. Loh served as a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council from 1992-2000.

This forum is the first of an anticipated two-part series on Doing Business in China; an on-site visit to China is planned for sometime in the next year.

Meeting the China Challenge is open to members of the WPI community and their sponsored guests.
