The Society for Women Engineers (SWE), a national nonprofit professional organization that encourages and recognizes women’s efforts in the field of engineering, has chapters across the country, including WPI’s SWE chapter. The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science.
