Flexible Study Today to Produce Civil Engineering Leaders of Tomorrow
Whether you earn an MS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or the interdisciplinary MS in Construction Project Management, or opt for the MEng in Civil Engineering, you will be encouraged to customize your program of study while gaining a firm foundation in civil engineering basics and real-world problem solving. It’s great preparation for a civil engineering career in consulting, industry, government, and education.
If you pursue your MS, you will combine classroom learning with hands-on research, working alongside our faculty, with a thesis or non-thesis option. The thesis option involves at least 6 credits of research. The Environmental Engineering program is available both online and on campus. The MS in Construction Project Management combines offerings from civil engineering, management science, business, and economics.
The practice-oriented MEng in Civil Engineering is available in Master Builder and Environmental concentrations. The Master Builder concentration is designed for engineering and construction professionals who want to become more effective team leaders. The Environmental concentration focuses on water resources, pollution prevention, and municipal and industrial treatment processes.
