Application Screening Questionnaire

The United States Air Force’s Reserve Officer Training Corps exists to gain highly capable commissioned officers into the Air Force after their graduation from college. For officer candidates that demonstrate the greatest potential to meet Air Force manpower needs, it can provide a full or partial scholarship, book cost offsets, and a stipend.

As a guideline, successful candidates have demonstrated their capabilities with the following metrics: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater, Combined SAT Score of 1100 or greater or ACT Composite score of 25 or greater, high physical fitness, and high moral standards.

We are always interested in new cadets! The WPI AFROTC Detachment receives applications for this program from bright, talented and ambitious college students across the Consortium; this questionnaire is intended to expedite the application process. Please use the fields below to enter information as it applies. This information will be sent to the Unit Admissions Officer, and used solely to assess the students’ suitability to the AF ROTC Program. You will be contacted within 2 weeks regarding the next steps in the application process.

Please read the AFROTC Requirements (PDF) before completing the form below.

If admitted, you will be further assessed for fitness as an Air Force officer with the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and the Department of Defense (DOD) Medical Evaluation Board. If you do not meet any of these testing standards, you will be dis-enrolled from the program.
