Normand A. Gauthier

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Normand A. Gauthier is the Professor of Military Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, MA as well as the Bay State Battalion Commander. He is responsible for the Cadet Command Battalion consisting of cadets enrolled from colleges and universities throughout the Worcester Consortium and both Fitchburg State College and UMASS Lowell. LTC Gauthier is a native of Thetford Mines, Quebec, Canada. He has held a variety of Command and Staff positions in his nineteen years in the Army and was most recent the Chief of Engineer Plans at 3rd Army (ARCENT / CFLCC) at Fort McPherson, GA. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal and an MBA from Canisius College in Buffalo NY. He is married to Sylvie Beauchemin and has three children, two boys and one girl.
