Dongyu Zhang

I received my Master's degree in Business Analytics from the Univesity of Texas at Dallas. I am now a Ph.D. student majoring in Data Science at WPI, working with Prof. Elke Rundensteiner. My research interests include natural language processing, model interpretability, multi-task learning, and weakly supervised learning.

Huayi Zhang

My work focuses on building data systems that help machine learning practitioners to construct training data, such as labeling and cleaning training data. Towards this goal, my research leverages machine learning techniques such as semi-supervised learning, active learning, outlier detection, etc.

Isaac Zhao

I find great satisfaction mining through mounds of data to uncover gems of knowledge that have the potential to save lives. I’ve worn many hats to provide support for oncology and mental health disorders in the pharmaceutical space. In drug discovery, I’ve analyzed genomic data to design more efficacious drug targets. In translational medicine, I’ve identified clinical biomarkers for predicting treatment response. As a statistician, I’ve provided planning and analysis for clinical trials. Raunak Borwankar

Cong Chen completed his Bachelor’s degree in Microelectronics from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2008 and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2011. He is currently a PhD candidate in Vernam Lab at WPI. Cong’s research interest includes hardware security, side channel analysis and countermeasures.

I am currently pursuing my Masters at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where I am currently working at Wireless Innovation Laboratory under Dr. Alexander Wyglinski and where I plan to pursue my Ph.d. My research interest include Cognitive Radios, Dynamic Spectrum Access, Bio-inspired Spectrum Access Techniques, VANET. I am also a Teaching Assistant at WPI for ECE introduction course and my responsibilities include assisting students in their projects and helping them in Lab.

Milad Hashemi Natanzi

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), focusing on developing xApps and rApps for the O-RAN OAIC testbed to explore AI-driven 6G cellular radio access networks. My research is supervised by Dr. Tang, with whom I also spent a semester at Mississippi State University. Prior to my Ph.D., I earned a B.S. in Computer Software Engineering and an M.S. in Information Technology from Azad University. Additionally, I have several years of industrial experience in the telecom sector, working with both operators and vendors.
