Intro to Gordon Library
George C. Gordon Library is home to a wide variety of state-of-the-art research tools. Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff, user-friendly facilities, and comprehensive online/on-site services and resources are available to support you in conducting your research and in using those tools.
Our aim at Gordon Library is to help you find what you need and conduct your research more efficiently. We offer course-integrated instruction, individual research consultations, general research workshops and tutorials, and support for distance learners and graduate students.
Our facilities are designed with you in mind; the library provides inviting and attractive spaces to support your research, study, and collaboration needs. Available to our users are extensive computer and technology access, quiet study and research spaces, and collaborative meeting areas including our private Tech Suites, perfect for technology-centered group meetings.
Our comprehensive online LibGuides include valuable information on numerous topics, including databases and electronic resources, course guides and subject listings, and how-to guides and tutorials.
Service and information desks are conveniently located in the Information Commons offering assistance with all research and technology needs. The Library Information Desk, Helpdesk, and the Academic Technology Center's Technology for Teaching and Learning (TTL) center can be found here. This area also provides users access to a copying center and the Class of 1970 Library Café.
