PhD Program

A Doctor of Philosophy is conferred on Manufacturing Engineering (MFE) candidates who have achieved significant attainments in their discipline and demonstrated the capacity to carry on original research.

For entry into the program, a candidate must apply to the director of Manufacturing Engineering, present a seminar for the Manufacturing Engineering faculty, and successfully complete the Manufacturing Engineering Doctoral Qualifying/Comprehensive Examination (MFEQE).
