We are excited to welcome you to an upcoming WPI sports camp! See below for answers to some of our frequently asked questions, such as where to pick up and drop off and what forms to bring.

General Camp Information

Unless otherwise noted, day sports caps run from 9 am to 4 pm at the WPI Sports and Recreation Center on our campus in Worcester, MA. All day camps include lunch, served in our dining hall. With advanced notice, we are happy to accommodate participants who have dietary restrictions.  Most day camps include an optional daily swim in our aquatic center pool.

All sports camps drop off on the first day at the WPI Sports and Recreation Center (set your GPS to 151 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA and refer to the map below). Please plan to park in the parking garage adjacent to the Sports and Rec Center, and accompany your camper to the check-in table.  If your camper requires prescription medication, please bring it in the original packaging with the prescribing physician and dosage listed, and our trainer will be on hand to accept it.  All campers must be pre-registered, paid, and have submitted their health paperwork in advance.  We do not accept walk-ins.

Required Forms

In addition to a completed online registration, we require a copy of the camper's physical (with all immunizations clearly listed) from your pediatrician.  This must be dated within 18 months prior to the start of the camp.  We recommend that you upload a .pdf directly to your online account after registering.  You may also mail, fax, or email it to Summer Programs (include camper's name, date of birth, and program on any correspondence).  Please note that our email address for document submissions is pop@wpi.edu.  Forms are due at least 2 weeks prior to the start of your sports camp. 

What to Bring

Please refer to each sports program’s listing to determine the sports equipment and other items that you will need for the camp you are attending. 

Program Policies

  • Payment is due within 10 business days of registration
  • A $50 cancellation fee will be assessed for any withdrawals occurring before June 15.  After June 15, no refunds will be processed.
  • Please call the Athletics office directly at 508-831-5243 to notify the staff of an absence, or to arrange for a late arrival or an early dismissal.
  • Campers will only be allowed to swim during the free swim period if parents have given permission in the online registration. A swim test will be administered by the lifeguards on the first day of camp.
