Torque Controlled Humanoid Robots

Abstract: This talk will describe how torque controlled humanoids (Sarcos Primus System, Boston Dynamics Atlas) are different from heavily geared robots (Honda Asimo, HRP2, Willow Garage PR2). Our own work in this area will be reviewed.
