Water Resources Certificates
The Water Resources graduate certificate program at WPI offers you a comprehensive set of graduate-level courses in a specialized area of environmental engineering to enhance your knowledgebase and increase your marketability in the workforce. A prior undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering or another related field is required.
The Advanced Water Resources certificate program at WPI allows you to delve more deeply into a postgraduate level specialty in your discipline. A prior master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or another related field is required.
In WPI’s Water Resources graduate certificate program, you’ll learn more about the world’s most critical natural resource, which is also under multiple complex threats. You will work with an advisor to choose appropriate classes to cover advanced topics that suit your interests, including improved methods of detecting and removing hazardous contaminants, utilizing zeolites for risk remediation, and spearheading water sustainability initiatives in your community and around the world.
The Water Resources advanced certificate program enable you to work with an advisor to choose a minimum of five classes that include advanced topics you did not cover in your formal master’s program of study. The courses may either include a breadth or a depth option, and may be customized to satisfy your unique needs.
