Admissions Live!

The WPI Office of Admissions provides multiple opportunities for prospective and accepted students to connect with current WPI students to ask questions and learn more about the university.

Events are primarily held through a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) thread on WPI's subreddit. AMAs give you an opportunity to post questions in a thread, receiving direct answers. We also host an Accepted Student livestream every April offering another forum to ask questions.

Missed the event or can't wait? We're happy to answer questions at any time. Send an email through our form to request a chat with a current student, faculty member, graduate, and an Admissions or Financial Aid counselor.

Reddit's "Ask Me Anything" sessions

Reddit AMA: January 15, 2019

"I chose WPI because I didn't have to give up my passions in exchange for my major. I get to participate in drama, theater and singing extracurricular activities, while still getting an ECE major. This really helps the work/life balance."

Current students at WPI hold AMAs 2-3 times a year. Check out the archives if you want to read more of their answers!

Also, did you know you can ask current students – and faculty – a question directly? Fill out this form and a current student will get back to you.
