Founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, National Engineers Week highlights the positive contributions engineers make to society and quality of life. Engineers Week is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers. It is celebrated annually by thousands of engineers, engineering students, teachers, and leaders in government and business. This year’s theme is Engineers: Inspiring Wonder. Feb. 18–24.
WPI invites students, parents, and educators to join in celebrating and promoting National Engineers Week through a weeklong event of activities and programming that will bring engineering to life.
