On Thursday evening, October 4th at 7 p.m. at Clark University's Atwood Daniel's Theatre, seven A Cappella groups from five local colleges will join together to celebrate the 3rd annual World Smile Day celebration.

Groups participating include: Holy Cross' "Fools on the Hill"; "Worcester State OK-Chorale"; WPI's "Interstate 8 - No-Fella A Cappella" and "Simple Harmonic Motion"; Providence College's "Special Guest" and "Anaclastic"; and Clark University's "Clark Bars."

The concert is free and open to the public.

The World Smile Day celebration originated three years ago when the U.S. Postal Service unveiled the first smiley face postage stamp in Worcester. The WSD committee includes members from the Worcester Historical Museum, the City of Worcester, the Office of Congressman Jim McGovern and the Harvey Ball World Smile Foundation.
