Koppi, who took his post at the CDC on May 1, comes to WPI from Mount Holyoke College, where he served as director of its career development center. At Mount Holyoke, Koppi established a unique three-college recruiting partnership with Smith College and Amherst College, resulting in increased employer contacts and more opportunities for students. Previously, he headed alumni relations at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
"I am pleased and excited to welcome Steve Koppi as our executive director of the CDC," said Stephen P. Flavin, vice president for academic and corporate development at WPI. "Our career services are critical to supporting our excellent students as they find great jobs, and support our commitment to our corporate partners. Steve brings solid industry credentials, and will be an outstanding asset to our WPI team."
Koppi earned a BA from The Catholic University of America and an MA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
