Reminder: Applications for Camp Reach and iBme close on April 15th, 2018.
Camp Reach, for girls entering 7th grade, was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in STEM Mentoring. Ranging from designing a roller coaster to making a sundae or lacing up shoes, students will discover engineering, math, and science concepts in everyday activities. In addition to exploring exciting STEM applications, WPI works with students to instill self-esteem, encourage positive body image, and promotes anti-violence of all types.
Innovations in Biomedical Engineering, for girls entering 8th grade, experience working with biomedical engineers on a project to improve people’s health and well-being. Students will also work in teams to learn more about the body, design your way around issues surgeons face, and investigate how engineers do their jobs.
