The Reverend Debora Jackson, D. Min., Dean of The Business School at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, is proud to announce the Dean’s Diversity Scholarship which will award up to three $20,000 scholarships toward a recipient’s first year of graduate studies. The new scholarship recognizes the academic achievements and potential of graduate students whose experiences and perspectives enrich the education of all Business School students and continue the excellence of WPI.
“Through the diversity of our experiences, we are positioned to co-create solutions to the world’s greatest problems. Therefore, we seek to make graduate education more affordable by removing systemic barriers, advancing a culture that values difference, and creating an inclusive community where everyone can contribute toward success. The Business School—and WPI as a whole—are committed to our institutional values of diversity, equity, and inclusion—and this scholarship demonstrates that commitment by championing those whose who have experienced marginalization,” says Dean Jackson.
Applicants will complete an essay embedded in The Business School graduate program application, and the first awards will be effective in academic year 2022/2023.
