Parking Permit Application/Renewal Process Opens August 2

The university’s deferral for renewing parking permits is ending. Beginning August 2, employees may renew (or apply for) a no-cost employee parking permit.

  • Employees may update their vehicle information and apply for parking permits through WPI Police parking portal.
    • Current employees will renew their existing permit to receive a new “year” sticker, no hangtag.
      • Make sure your vehicle information is correct—or update any new information.
      • Do not throw out your current hangtag; you will continue to use it.
    • New employees may apply for a new hangtag and year sticker.
  • The process is completely online; there are no walk-ins for permits.
  • There will be a grace period for the first two weeks of A-Term; after that, the normal ticketing process will resume.
  • Please note the site is experiencing high traffic and you may get an error message. Try again after a period of time and, if you cannot complete the process after a few tries, contact the Parking Office at 508-831-5433 or
