Our academic partner, Tsinghua University, will host the 3rd Annual Global Public Safety Symposium on September 23, 2019.  The event will focus on emerging technologies in the field of public safety in a global context. This year's theme will be "Public Safety in A Smart Digital Era"

Colleagues will attend from Tsinghua University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as well as guests from industry, academia, and government.

Highlights of the event will include:

  • Introduction of Tsinghua-WPI Joint Research Center for Global Public Safety
  • Invited Talk by Mr. Yidi Zhang, Director of Infrastructure, TuSimple
  • Invited Talk by Professor Hui Zhang, Deputy Director of the Institute for Public Safety Research at Tsinghua University
  • A panel discussion with experts from academia and industry
