As our students begin to re-engage classes remotely, hopefully it will provide some measure of normalcy and grounding in their daily routines. Nonetheless, these will be quite challenging times for all of us, many of us have already and will face significant losses. While our students as a whole are a young and resilient bunch, many and most are without the life experience of having lived through other times of crisis. Your wisdom, hope and perspective on things will serve them well as you can offer it. Your willingness to listen actively and emphatically when they are struggling will be invaluable to them.
On the front lines of this endeavor, if you become concerned about your students emotional and mental well being, please don't hesitate to reach out to support resources available to you through the SDCC, Dean of Students Office and Campus Police.
- For SDCC consultation send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 508 831-5540.
- To contact the Dean of Students Office: Submit online concerns at https://fs28.formsite.com/webteamwpiedu/concerned-about-student/index.html, or call the Dean of Students Office at 508 831-5201, leave a message and your phone call will be returned.
- In case of an emergency, regardless of time of day, where a student's well-being is in jeopardy, please contact Campus Police at +1-508-831-5433.
