Consistent with other departments across campus, the WPI Career Development Center (CDC) has gone virtual! We have worked hard to transition all of our operations to be remote-based so we can continue to provide the same level of support to our student, alumni, and employer partners. In addition to transitioning all of our services online, we are actively preparing best practice guides and videos for remote experiences and are working with students and employers on how to navigate situations arising from the current environment. Please find some key information below that we encourage you to share with your networks, and as always, please continue to refer anyone to our office as needed.
The WPI Career Development Center has transitioned all services online to ensure students can continue to actively explore and pursue career opportunities without coming to campus. Students can schedule virtual/phone appointments with CDC staff members, attend virtual events and career fairs, apply to jobs, and connect with employers on Handshake. In addition, virtual drop-ins (no appointment needed) will be hosted Monday – Friday from 10am – 2pm. Students can access these drop-ins through this link. Lastly, students can always contact us at email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
There are a number of ways and virtual opportunities for employers to stay connected to the WPI Career Development Center and recruit talent in the current climate. We encourage organizations to start by scheduling a time to talk with one of our employer relations team members, which can be scheduled any day of the week through these links (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays.). Additionally, employers can utilize their Handshake account to post jobs, advertise their virtual events to students, and participate in one of our upcoming virtual career fairs.
