From the East

  1. Take Mass. Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 106 (old exit 11A) (I-495).
  2. Proceed north to exit 65B (old exit 25B) (I-290), then west into Worcester.
  3. Take Exit 21 (old exit 18) (Lincoln Sq., Rte. 9), turn right at end of ramp, then an immediate right before next traffic light.
  4. At next light, proceed straight through, bearing to the right on Salisbury St. 
  5. At the WPI sign, turn left onto Boynton St., then right onto Institute Rd.
  6. Take your first right (Private Way). This private driveway provides drop-off access to the Bartlett Center, Alden Hall, and other buildings, as well as handicap parking.

From the North

Take I-495 south to I-290. Follow directions from East, starting at step 3. 

From the South and West

  1. Take Mass. Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 90 (old exit 10) (Auburn).
  2. Proceed east on I-290 into Worcester.
  3. Take Exit 17 (Lincoln Sq., Rte. 9), turn left at end of ramp, follow Rte. 9 west through Lincoln Sq., straight onto Highland St.
  4. Right at light onto West St.
  5. Travel one block and cross Institute Road (onto Private Way). This private driveway provides drop-off access to the Bartlett Center, Alden Hall, and other buildings, as well as handicap parking.

Admissions visitor parking is located on either side of Bartlett Center, the building that is directly ahead as you enter the Quadrangle area; general visitor parking is on the right as you approach the Quadrangle, adjacent to Alumni Gymnasium. Admissions visitors should pick-up a visitor parking pass at the Admissions Office to display in their windshield.

From the East

  1. Take Mass. Turnpike (1-90) to Exit 106 (old exit 11A) (I-495).
  2. Proceed north to Exit 65B (old exit 25B) (I-290), then west into Worcester.
  3. Take Exit 21 (old exit 18) (Lincoln Sq., Rte. 9), turn right at end of ramp, then an immediate right before next traffic light.

From the North

Take I-495 South to I-290. Follow directions from East starting at step 3.

From the South and West

  1. Take Mass. Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 90 (old exit 10) (Auburn).
  2. Proceed east on I-290 into Worcester.
  3. Take Exit 17 (Lincoln Sq., Rte. 9), turn left at end of ramp, take a right at the second light onto Lincoln St.
  4. Bear left at the next light onto Salisbury St. Follow Salisbury St.
  5. Take left before the First Baptist Church and follow the driveway to the WPI Parking Garage.
