Whether you'll be completing coursework on or off campus, our team is working diligently to deliver an off-campus project application experience like never before.

We are excited to announce a virtual format for the fall Global Fair, a full two week event, allowing students to drop into sessions specific to their interests. Events will begin on Tuesday, September 8 and continue through Thursday, September 17. While a number of events are focused on the IQP, look for special events designed for first-year students, prospective advisors, and parents too! For more details, and to register, please look for details below.

    2020 Global Fair: Off-Campus IQP Application Process Town Hall

    We will launch our Global Fair events with a kick-off to the IQP application process! Join us for an overview of the weeks' events. We will discuss important considerations as an applicant including application details, project center preferences and deadlines. This event will be held via Zoom with a town hall style presentation and time for Q&A. Current sophomores who intend to complete their IQP off-campus in their junior year are highly encouraged to attend. Space is limited, so please register prior to the event.     2020 Global Fair: First-Year Cafe

    Designed specifically for first-year students. Meet the Global Experience Office staff and learn more about the many off-campus opportunities available to you over the course of your WPI career. This event will be held via Zoom webinar with time for Q&A.     2020 Global Fair: IQP Returned Student Chat

    Join us for a 1:1 chat session with returned students who have completed their IQP off-campus. Returned students will be available for a text chat session (up to 10 minutes), supported one on one with an applicant through the Brazen platform. Returned students will be grouped by region of the world, so applicants can enter multiple rooms to speak with students who completed IQPs at different centers around the world. Space is limited, so registration is required prior to the event.

    2020 Global Fair: Mixed-Team Model - Meet local students through project work!

    A number of project centers offer the opportunity for WPI students to work alongside students from partner universities as they complete their project work. This mixed-team model enhances the cultural experience for WPI students and their local colleagues. Learn more about these unique opportunities through an information session hosted by the directors of the Bangkok, Thailand Project Center, Beijing, China Project Center, Hangzhou, China Project Center, Mandi, India Project Center and Moscow, Russia Project Center. Read more about the project centers, and watch the project center videos, on eProjects prior to this event. Registration is not required.
