Paul Lukez Architecture (PLA), a design-intensive studio, focuses on creating sustainable designs
that enrich the environment and elevate the human experience. PLA has worked on architectural and
urban design projects in Asia, Central America, and the U.S. and is especially interested in
integrating sustainable concepts and technologies into its projects. Most recently, the firm's
design for a new community that integrates a "Hydro-Electric Canal" has received three
international awards, including the WAFX Award 2017. The firm is involved in multiple Net-Zero
Energy projects.
Paul is a graduate of MIT, where he was also a professor from 1999 - 2007. He has taught at
Washington University, Miami University, RWU and Tsinghua University, among others. He is a Fellow
