From July 23-25 WPI is hosting a Summer School on Axiomatic Design and how to use it in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering and the design of complex systems.

This short course is intended for engineering students of all levels, engineers, technology managers and anyone involved with designing, planning and implementing changes in manufacturing processes and systems, who might have never used Axiomatic Design, or who would like a fresh perspective.

Format: 8 hours of lecture and 12 hours of case study elaboration in small groups.

If you would like academic credit for this effort, please email me (Prof. Chris Brown) and we will figure something out.

The cost for this 2.5 day training is $250 for industry (students and WPI faculty and staff are free).

Included: Lecture notes, coffee, lunch in the WPI  food court.

More information is attached. Please follow this link to apply and register for the Summer School.
