Josh Russell's very short prose has recently appeared in Epoch, Cincinnati Review, the New York Times, Okey-Panky, New World Writing, Western Humanities Review, and DIAGRAM. He's the author of the novels Yellow Jack (W.W. Norton), My Bright Midnight (Louisiana State University Press), and A True History of the Captivation, Transport to Strange Lands, & Deliverance of Hannah Guttentag (Dzanc Books), and the chapbook Pretend You'll Do It Again (Greying Ghost Press). He's the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and the Director of the Creative Writing Program at Georgia State University.
