The Center for Global Public Safety (CGPS) is hosting an Industry Stakeholders’ Forum to share the vision of this new interdisciplinary initiative. The CGPS aims to develop innovative approaches and relationships to accelerate knowledge development, transfer and implementation that leads to the impactful resolution of complex global safety concerns and the establishment of more resilient communities. CGPS is excited to host industry professionals in the fields of Fire Protection, Water Quality, Food Safety and Emergency Response.
This event will focus on identifying the greatest research needs in each industry area as they relate to global public safety. The ultimate goal is to determine how to best leverage the expertise and facilities available at WPI and CGPS academic partner institutions to drive education, outreach, and strategic alliances, which advance essential technologies for the development of smarter and safer communities worldwide.
