Modulation of selective autophagy receptor SQST-1/p62 dynamics by protein and lipid metabolism

Dr. Louis Lapierre
Assistant Professor
Department of Molecular Biology,
Cell Biology and Biochemistry
Brown University

The Lapierre laboratory uses a combination of biochemical, genetic and molecular approaches to study aging in a well-established research model, the nematode C. elegans. Our focus is to expand our understanding of the biology of aging by investigating the autophagy-lysosome pathway, a central longevity mechanism.
