One of the distinct advantages to synchronous online learning is the opportunity for interaction. By moving more passive tasks to the asynchronous environment, we can utilize real-time sessions for more engaging activities that help develop higher-order thinking skills and foster community. This webinar will present strategies for synchronous online activities, such as class discussions, small group collaboration, and student led sessions. We will also highlight useful features of Zoom, WPI’s web conferencing platform, that will enhance the synchronous learning experience for both you and your students.
