Join MassHire Central, the STEM Education Center at WPI, and the Central Massachusetts STEM Network for its first internship colloquium.
The Colloquium will bring together STEM industry employers and high school educators to discuss the importance and impact of paid STEM internships on both high school students and local employers and the ways those internships can be structured. The Colloquium will also provide a space for industry and education to come together and network.
Because space is limited, please consider sending 1 to 2 people only from your school/district or company.
The event is free but does require registration. Register by Wednesday, March 6th: http://bit.ly/2Ddbji1
An email with a parking pass and additional location information will be sent out prior to the event.
This initiative is made possible through funding from the Massachusetts Department of Education and the STEM Advisory Council and builds upon efforts the MA STEM@Work campaign by the Baker-Polito Administration. Through initiatives like this, the Administration seeks to expand access to high quality STEM education for students across the Commonwealth, including participation in paid STEM-focused internship opportunities.
