Title: "My Journey in Mathematical Biology"
Abstract: In this talk I will outline how I have used mathematics to study biological systems,
such as the human eye or spermatozoa locomotion, and my personal journey as a
mathematician. My passion as a mathematician is to use mathematical models that
describe biological systems together with experimental data to clarify the different
components of a biological process. The ultimate goal of the models is to facilitate
the future development of medicine, opportunities I’ve encountered in mathematics,
biology, and their intersection.
